Ernie Horton serves customers located in the southeastern region of the United States and the Bahamas. He has been with CRAM-A-LOT® since 2005, and works from his home office in Woodstock, Georgia, just north of Atlanta. Ernie is a graduate of the University of Alabama who has enjoyed a 30 year career in the environmental industry. His environmental career began as a private commercial waste hauler that served Alabama & Mississippi. Ernie then worked for Waste Management for a number of years before joining Carolina Container Corporation, a privately held commercial hauler serving NC & SC. Following their acquisition by Allied Waste he ran a group of their operations in the Atlanta area. He then entered the environmental consulting and engineering field, and later worked for Waste Integrated Service Consultants (WISC) based in Tampa, FL in the waste management and brokerage business. Ernie once supervised the installation of an automated two compactor / cart tipper system for the Bank of America NFL Stadium in Charlotte, NC, which included twin five story chutes! In his free time, Ernie enjoys listening to music and watching college football. He is also a fan of classic American muscle cars.
